BUY-GIVE-DONATE!

Hello! I understand there’s little motivation for you to donate – it’s okay, i’d be exactly the same. “What’s in it for me?” you say. “Why should I bother?”. With that in mind, I’ve come up with an idea to inspire you to donate.

For every donation you make I will GIVE you something in return! In other words, you can BUY any of these items below in return for sponsoring me.

Thanks to the good people of freecycle, some friends and me – all this stuff is up for grabs. It was all donated to sell/give to you in return for sponsorship. HOW GOOD IS THAT!!

Don’t worry I’d have been reluctant to donate – i’d have felt guilty and would have put it off and off -  but NOW there’s an incentive… choose an item and it’s yours! You can pick it up from my house (if you’re near) OR I’ll mail it to you!

Or if you’d like to DONATE any items, please get in touch!

So, what are you waiting for?

LOOK AT THIS!

Make your Bid for this Italian Tantarella Accordian which is estimated to be around 100 years old! It’s a bit of tune but comes with a really heavy cumbersome case.

BOOKS

Dying Light

"Oooh!"

Dying Light by Stuart MacBride – Sounds fun. Thriller. About a cop. £5

The Hopeless Life of Charlie Summers

"Hmmm!"

The Hopeless Life of Charlie Summers by Paul Thorday – Funny fiction. Sounds all right, about a dog maybe? I don’t know I’m just looking at the front cover. £5

"Sexy-ish?"

Thank Heaven by Leslie Caron – Described as a “frank and intimate biography…” now it’s in my pants. £5

"Yeeeees!"

Timelines – The Art of Modernism 1870-2000 by Sandro Bocola – This book is really rare and expensive. It’s quite good, Jase likes it. He’s so handsome! £10 o.n.o

"Now... if only I had a time machine!"

A History of Europe by John Bowler – Valued at £14 for a new one! Now I know where France is! It’s below us and right a bit. £5.

Read them and weep. Actually don't weep, I don't want that. Just read them.

Young Puffin Modern Classics Collection by various authors – I bought this two years ago BRAND NEW and it’s been wrapped in christmas paper ever since. I had it stowed away as a backup gift for someone but forgot about it. It includes Fantastic Mr Fox and The Hodgeheg and is valued at £50 according to Amazon. To you, £20.

I got distracted as I was reading by a passing fox... whilst having a stroke

Beneath the Stones by Ann Granger – A mystery. Ooh! Who did it? I don’t know! Stop asking! £5

HOME

Patchworky!

Jazz Patchwork by Fiona Howard – These pictures are about 40x90cm at a total guess. They’re quite big. This one is nice. £10 o.n.o

I like this, there's a bike in it. Bikes are good.

The House by the Sea, Brittany by Nicholas Verrall – Says it all. £10 o.n.o

Aw it's a fwowwer... kill it!

Morning Tulip by Richard Spare – I REALLY like this one. It’s up on our living room wall at the moment looking tuliptastic. £11 o.n.o

Rug – Trendy, stylish, good on your floor, good on your back. For that reason it’s £5.

Random!

She'll got to fourth base for a Lexmark... will you?

Lexmark Z25 Printer – Wonderfully modelled here by the seductive Jodie Burch AKA “The Velociraptor” due to her unmistakable cough, the Lexmark is decent model that will satisfy all your printing needs. She promised to wash it once she’s finished with it. £15

Not blurry in real life

Acoustic Solutions DVD player – Can you believe someone gave this away? It’s slim line and tiny and comes with all the cables and shebang. Just £15.

You're gunner love this! Get it? Course you do, you're lovely

Arsenal Victoria Concordia Crescent thing
– This is amazing! It’s a membership gift box celebrating Arsenal from 1879 to 2009. Whoever lived here previous left it behind. It’s a DVD, poster, hardback book, comic book annual and some other bits and pieces. Well worth £25

I wrote this!

The Other Halves by Robert Fletcher – Yes me! This is a script I wrote. A radio sit-com I pitched to Radio 4 inspired by Tim Key’s ‘All Bar Luke’ (except nothing like it). It’s about a two people who ‘pretend’ to be a couple to stop the pestering of their friends/family and seek revenge on old flames. Also, people are more attractive when they’re in a relationship. First edition. £25! (o.n.o)

Toucans. Two. Cans.

Special Edition Stella Artois x 2 – Two Northern Irish blokes on the tube gave me these at 6am after I stumbled home after a night out. They had about 40 to drink before they got their plane home to Belfast an hour later. I gladly took these two off their hands. £5 (o.n.o).

Anti-babymaking invention

Featherlight Durex Condoms x 2 – Yes, still unused (sigh). It’d be pointless me using these as I’m so unbelievably potent not even six bin liners and a crash helmet could stop me mini-bobs impregnating a lady. £5 (o.n.o)

It's business time...

Business Cards x 5 – I had these made by some BBC folk. Aren’t they snazzy? They could be worth something some day… but for now i’d accept £5 (or anything, come on!) Or £1 each.

Brighton Marathon 2010

Like some idiot I’ve signed up to do the Brighton Marathon 2010 which takes place April 18th. It’s 26 miles long and I’m determined to get a respectable time – meaning running all the way. I’ll be blogging on it properly at some point soon with more reasoning and such but all you need to know is I need to raise £500.  The charity I’m representing is the National Autistic Society.

It’s not really a lot. But at the same time, I’ve got just three months to raise it.

Please donate as it’s a worthy cause, and do so generously. Read more in my Bob Versus Autism blog.

Also, don’t think you can get away with not donating because I’ll only pester and stalk you till you give in. So, save us both the time and give give give! God I feel like Lenny Henry at Comic Relief, except not a total……… no, he’s a good bloke, I suppose.
